[origin: WO0142664A2] The invention relates to an electronic component provided with an electrical connecting means (7) which are used to connect electrical conductors. Said component also contains at least one internal electronic unit (13) which is in electrical contact with the electrical connecting means (7). The electrical connecting means are (7) an integral part of an exchangeable adapter (8) provided in a base (12) located in an internal electronic unit (13).Said adapter is provided with standardized, first interface means (17) which are connected to the electrical connecting means (7). During assembly or disassembly of the adapter (8), said interface means are arranged on the base (12) and are connected to the internal electronic unit (13). The base can thus be selectively fitted with various adapters at the same point of assembly (11). Said adapters are provided with different electrical connecting means (7).
