The grid rack has mutually swivelling areas and under suspension elements (3) with at least one bridging element provided between the under suspension elements of adjoining areas (7,8) which are connected together by articulation joints (12). The bridging element has fixing devices for fixing on the suspension elements as well as a connecting web (5) which is formed elastically deformable in a preferred direction of movement. The connecting web for the areas which can swivel down from a horizontal position is shaped concave downwards in the horizontal starting position of the rack to form a flat plane when the two areas are swivelled towards each other

Es wird ein verstellbarer Rost von Sitz- oder Liegemöbeln zur Verfügung gestellt, der ein Einklemmen einer Matratzenauflage zwischen Unterfederungselementen (3,4) sicher vermeidet, was dadurch erreicht wird, dass zwischen Unterfederungselementen (3,4) benachbarter Teilbereiche (7,8,9,10), die durch Gelenke (12) miteinander verbunden sind, mindestens ein Brückenelement (1,2) angeordnet ist welches Befestigungsvorrichtungen (5) zur Festlegung an den Unterfederungselementen (3,4) aufweist sowie einen Verbindungssteg (5,6), der in einer bevorzugten Bewegungsrichtung biegeelastisch verformbar ausgebildet ist. <IMAGE>
