[origin: EP1184161A2] Device for constructing boxes from cardboard sections has a separating device (20) comprising a horizontal drive shaft (21), positioned lower than a transport device (30), and at least one two-part arm (22, 23), whose two parts (22, 23) are connected flexibly to each other and can be tilted against each other using a pneumatic cylinder (25). Vacuum suction apparatus (26) is connected to a free section of the arm (23) and its position is adjustable depending on the cardboard section (1). The separating device (20) is positioned so that it places the cardboard section (1) removed from the stack (1') onto the transport device (30).
