Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1184494A2] The yarn texturizing jet (10) has a stuffer section (16) where the outlet ends of the blades are free to the environment, and especially without contact with the surrounding parts of the jet structure and/or lead to a following guide section (18) The yarn texturizing jet has a guide section (14) in front of the stuffer section. The stuffer section is followed by a guide and/or plug guide tube. The blade holder (26) holds the blades (28) at the entry into the stuffer section, next to the feed guide. The downward ends of the blades are left free, away from the holder. The outer contours (28') of the blades are either parallel to the feed direction of the air or textile fibers, or they are at an angle to it. The ends of the blades towards the outlet guide or plug guide tube are at an angle to the blade contours, so that they lie around in a circle to give the stuffer section a truncated cone-shaped mantle surface, with a cone angle of 1-5 degrees , (preferably 2 degrees ). The outflow guide or plug guide tube has a conical entry funnel (18a), to contain the free ends of the blades with a ring gap. The texturizing jet is followed by a pair of rollers or a drum to carry off the texturized yarn or plug.
