[origin: EP1184530A1] The edge locking bolt fitting, especially for a door panel (1) which opens outwards, has an operating rod (12) at the rear side with a locking bar (11) with a swing lever to extend and retract the locking bolt. The locking bar has at least one entry opening (20) for the bolt (8), in the lock (6) at the static door panel (2). The opening is closed by a section of the operating rod when the bolt is in the opening.
