Abstract (en)
The device for separating a commencement casing material into two part strips for fed to a twin strip cigarette processing machine, uses a longitudinal rotary cutting device. Two measuring units (26,27) monitor the width of the part strips (3,4) and a positioning component (29) undertakes a relative adjustment between the commencement casing material strip (1) and the longitudinal cutting device (6). A control unit (28) is brought into contact with the center line of the longitudinal cutting devicec dependent upon width deviations of the part strips andn is in effective connection with the width measurement units.

Die Erfindung betrifft das Trennen eines doppeltbreiten Zigarettenpapierstreifens in zwei Teilbahnen, die zu einer Verarbeitungsmaschine geführt werden. Es ist das Ziel, für beide Teilbahnen hinsichtlich ihrer Abmessungen und ihres Bahnverlaufs optimale Voraussetzungen für ihre Weiterverarbeitung zu schaffen. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, dass die Breite beider Teilbahnen (3, 4) überwacht und die Messwerte miteinander verglichen werden und dass bei unterschiedlichen Breiten-Messwerten die Lage des ungeteilten Zigarettenpapierstreifens (1) entsprechend quer zur Laufrichtung (2) derart korrigiert wird, dass die StreifenMittenlinie sich mit der Trennlinie der Längsschneideinrichtung (7) deckt. Auf diese Weise werden Breitenschwankungen des Ausgangsstreifens gleichmäßig auf beide Teilbahnen verteilt. <IMAGE>
