Abstract (en)

A forging die rolling appliance (4-12) without its own axial rolling drive, for the purpose of axial rolling, forms a moveable and replaceable unit for fitting into a conventional forging die (1) between a press die (2) and a press table (3). The forging die applies the axial rolling force. The press table is moveable in horizontal direction and supports the rolling appliance. Upper and lower machine housings (10,5) are connected via pref. four column guides (4) with retraction.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Umformvorrichtung zum Walzen und Profilieren von scheiben- und ringförmigen Teilen aus einem metallischen Werkstoff, zum Beispiel aus Stahl, aus Superlegierungen, Aluminiumlegierungen oder dergleichen, wobei eine ohne axialen Eigenantrieb vorgesehene Gesenkwalzvorrichtung (4-12) zum axialen Walzen als transportable und austauschfähige Baueinheit in einer üblichen Schmiedepresse (1) zwischen einem Pressenstößel (2) und dem Pressentisch (3) austauschbar anzuordnen ist. Dadurch lassen sich die Investitionskosten für die sonst üblichen Gesenkwalzmaschinen erheblich reduzieren und vorhandene Schmiedepressen ohne Umbauarbeiten auch zum Axialwalzen durch Integrieren einer Gesenkwalzvorrichtung (4-12) gemäß der Erfindung einsetzen und umfunktionieren. <IMAGE>
