The tool has an electric safety coupling controlled by a microcontroler (1) whose input parameter is the electric tool motor's measured input current (I), that computes (2) a torque from the current and that outputs a safety coupling separation control signal if the torque signal exceeds a threshold. The measured torque is compared with the computed torque and a control signal is output if the difference exceeds a threshold.

Bei einem Elektrohandwerkzeuggerät mit einer elektrisch durch einen Mikrocontroller (1) steuerbaren Sicherheitskupplung wird das Drehmoment (M) und optional der Eingangsstrom (I) des Elektromotors gemessen, wobei in einem ersten Rechenglied (2) des Mikrocontrollers (1) der Eingangsstrom (I) des Elektromotors über eine Motorkennlinie (3) oder das Drehmoment (M) über ein Filterglied (8) stationär in ein berechnetes Drehmoment (M') abgebildet wird, welches in einem Steuerglied (7) des Mikrocontrollers (1) mit dem gemessenen Drehmoment (M) verglichen wird und bei Überschreitung eines Schwellwertes für die Differenz (Δ) das Steuersignal (θ) erzeugt und über die Sicherheitskupplung die Kraftübertragungskette aufgetrennt. <IMAGE>
