Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1186499A2] The railway coach (1) with an inner roof lining comprising several part linings (13,14) at least crossways to the coach longitudinal axis has central part lining and adjacent part linings fixed with end edges (25) to the inner wall of the roof. On opposite inner walls of the coach side walls (6) are luggage supports (17), beneath which window apertures (10) are provided. In order to effect the inner roof lining with simple means, only three part linings are employed, with holding devices (16) fixed to the insides of the side walls, on which the luggage supports are attached and which have an upwardly open groove (18), in which the longitudinal lower edge (19) of the outer part lining is inserted.
