Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1186554A2] The glue cartridge has a valve assembly comprising a ball(30), housing(34) and spiral spring(32) to close off the nozzle(16) and to create a predetermined back pressure against glue emerging from the body of the cartridge. The back pressure created by the valve is overcome by force application of the piston element so that glue can be delivered from the outlet end of the nozzle.
