Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1186762A2] The control device with a control valve (11) is particularly for exhaust gas control with a control valve within aa conduit (12), the valve being heeld on a shaft (13). With its ends (14,15) the shaft is pivotably located in bearing accommodations (17,18) in the wall (16) of the conduit. With the location of at least one end of the shaft (14), between this end and the bearign accommodation, there is at least only a circular ring-shaped line contact, so that deposits of particles in the medium, which would otherwise make the pivot location difficult of access, or even blocked, are avoided.
