Abstract (en)

A D-net antenna is split in two, and one part thereof is provided as a D-net element 13 in an antenna element 1. The other element thereof is accommodated inside the cover section 2 as a lower element 10. An E-net element 11 is connected to the top end of the lower element 10. This E-net element 11 has a rectangular radiating surface, and has virtually omnidirectional characteristics in the horizontal plane. The antenna element 1 is installed detachably to the cover section 2, and when it is installed thereon, the D-net element 13 and the lower element 10 become mutually connected. Thereby, a multi-frequency antenna operating across two different broad frequency bands is obtained. <IMAGE>
