Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0076829A1] The invention relates to a safeguarding plant for level crossings. The individual components of a level crossing (BU), namely the setting elements (S1 to S4, L1.1 to L2.2, U1.1 to U2.2) and the sensor systems (SE1.1 to SAA2.2) are interlinked via transmitter and/or receiver devices for radiotelephony. The sensor messages are processed in controllers that are allocated to the setting elements and are converted to operating commands for the setting elements. The setting elements and the sensor systems and their corresponding controllers and transmitter and/or receiver devices for radiotelephony are preferably supplied with energy by a decentral system of solar generators. Only if supply leads for operating the setting elements and optionally the sensor systems are already available, these parts can also be centrally supplied with energy. Decentral energy supply systems can also be centrally supplied with energy. The setting elements are invariably controlled decentrally via radiotelephony. The individual setting elements can be optionally retrofitted with decentral energy supply devices without changing the control design of the safeguarding plant for the level crossing.
