[origin: WO0138625A2] The invention concerns a method for making a single-piece bowl in thermostructural composite material consisting of a fibrous reinforcement densified by a matrix which consists in supplying one-piece deformable fibrous strata free of slots and cuts, stacking said deformable strata on a form corresponding to the bowl to be produced, by deforming them; and assembling the stacked strata together by means of fibres extending transversely relative to the strata, for example by needling so as to obtain a bowl preform which is then densified. The bowl (1) is useful as a crucible support (5) in an installation producing monocrystalline silicon.
