Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2795337A1] A stainless steel tube (1) has slight changes in its outer surface level (2 and 3), either longitudinal grooves (as shown) or projections. The surface changes are less than 0.2 mm in depth, but are sufficient to encourage condensate to collect quickly into droplets and run away. An independent claim is given for a process of improving the thermal exchanges within a heat exchanger by using these tubes
