[origin: EP1188429A2] Coffin transported comprises a U-shaped frame (1) which has four wheels (4,5,8,9) and a fixed coffin laying shackle (14) which is fixed at the closed corner of the frame. At the rear is at least one gas spring (26) which is fixed at the end of one of the legs. The front coffin laying shackle is arrestable in its highest open position by means of a pressure spring bolt (19). The coffin resting surface has a cross-strut whose front coffin laying shackle is formed as a square end tube.
