Abstract (en)
The clamp, comprising a body with a cavity and a handle (21) for a harness strap, has a fixed jaw (3) and a movable jaw (5) allowing it to be fitted onto a horizontal safety line cable. It is designed so that the movable jaws can be set in an intermediate position with a gap large enough to allow the clamp to pass over supports on the safety line holding it to the wall. A control member (11) allows the jaw gap to be widened for fitting and removing the clamp, while is it automatically closed completely if a pull is applied to the handle.

Coulisseau pour ligne de vie comprenant une mâchoire mobile (5) délimitant avec une mâchoire fixe (3) une gouttière (2) pour son guidage sur un câble (30) caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens pour maintenir la mâchoire entrouverte dans une position intermédiaire, des moyens (11) pour commander l'ouverture de la mâchoire (5) pour monter le coulisseau sur le câble et des moyens pour fermer complètement la mâchoire si une traction est exercée sur une poignée (21) destinée à être reliée par un lien à un harnais. <IMAGE>
