Abstract (en)

Liquid filter comprises spirally wound filter strip with V-shaped cross section. It has adjacent edges joined to form two spiral chambers when wound. The strip comprises at least two laminated layers, one paper and the other melt blown fibre. Liquid filter consists of a spirally wound filter material strip which has a V-shaped cross section. The edges of adjacent layers are joined at the open side of the material strip, so two spirally shaped chambers are formed in the winding. The filter material strip (12) has groove type depressions that run laterally with respect to the longitudinal direction. The strip consists of at least two laminated layers (15,16), where one is made of paper and the other is a melt blown fibre layer.

Abstract (de)

Es wird ein Flüssigkeitsfilter (10) für Kraftstoffe vorgeschlagen, das als Wickelfilter ausgeführt ist, bei dem wenigstens ein mehrschichtiger Filtermaterialstreifen (12) unter Beifügung von Klebstoff (13) zur Abdichtung von ineinandergefügten Räumen (24, 25) spiralig um ein Mittelrohr (14) gewickelt ist. Der mehrschichtige Filtermaterialstreifen (12) weist neben einer Papierschicht (15) mindestens eine darauf laminierte Meltblown-Faserschicht (16) auf, wodurch sich neben dem Abscheidegrad des Filters dessen Standzeit erheblich steigern läßt. <IMAGE>
