Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1188870A2] A urinal has a basin (4) with a drainage outlet (24) which is protected by a tub (2) shaped odour trap (1) . The tub has a perforated cover draining to a valve (5) resting on a seat (7) with closure (8) to an outlet (6) . The outlet (6) is closed (8) under spring pressure without any force by hydraulic up-thrust. The closure (8) especially has a weight (7) which holds the valve open under delayed action while fluid drains.
