Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1188915A2] A process for controlling nitrogen oxide (NOx) regeneration in a NOx storage catalyst, located in the exhaust gas of a lean burn combustion engine, comprises establishing the catalyst damage and then controlling the flow of a reducing agent during regeneration. Regeneration is stopped once a voltage threshold in an exhaust gas probe downstream of the catalyst has been reached.
