Abstract (en)
The duct has a housing-like channel wall enclosing the work chamber and with a purest air current (18) supplied in a laminar flow over the work chamber. A laminar protective air current (27) of purest air is also provided which surrounds the purest air current at least on the side facing the access opening (7) into the channel wall. The two laminar air currents are supplied at different speeds and/or different directions to form a boundary layer (34) through which vortices (35) pass through.

Ein Kanal für Reinstluftbedingungen weist eine gehäuseartige, einen Arbeitsraum (8) einschließende Kanalwandung (2) und einen darin über den Arbeitsraum (8) laminar geführten Reinstluftstrom (18) auf. Der Arbeitsraum (8) ist über eine Öffnung (7) in der Kanalwandung (2) zugänglich. Es ist ein laminarer Schutzstrom (27) aus Reinstluft vorgesehen, der den Reinstluftstrom (18) zumindest auf der Öffnung (7) in der Kanalwandung (2) zugekehrten Seite umgibt. Der Reinstluftstrom (18) und der Schutzstrom (27) sind mit unterschiedlichen Geschwindigkeiten und/oder Richtungen unter Ausbildung einer von Wirbeln (35) durchsetzten Grenzschicht (34) im Kanal (1) geführt. <IMAGE>
