Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1189249A2] A potential transformer has a surrounding sleeve (3) as a protective device with an over-pressure safety device mounted on the top side of the sleeve. The over-pressure safety device is designed as a cover plate (7) that is pressed with pressure springs onto the sleeve. Bolts with a head and at least one thread on the end side are provided. Each bolt is guided through the center of a pressure spring, an opening in the cover plate and cover-like opening in the top edge of the sleeve.
