Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0073052A1] The invention relates to a method for producing stable tubular pouches that are formed integrally from a two-dimensional material (22) without pre-cutting. Said pouches are provided with a re-closable element (3), a pouring spout (4) with head seams (6) and a closing seam (5), a folded-in bottom and a folded-in head part (17). The invention also relates to a bag forming, filling, and sealing machine for carrying out said method. According to the method for producing tubular pouches, the tube is produced from a two-dimensional material (22) by means of a shaping shoulder (28) and a shaping collar (29) that surrounds a filling tube (23). The two marginal areas of the two-dimensional continuous material are contacted with each other so that they widely overlap in the perpendicular direction. Said wide overlap extends laterally of the filling tube (23) and transversally to the direction of advance of the two-dimensional material and is displaced in parallel to the filling tube (23). The pouring spout (4) is formed by punching the wide and two-dimensional overlap to give a pouring spout and at the same time undetachably closing the marginal areas of the pouring spout thus formed with head seams (6) and a closing seam (5) as the outer delimitations of the pouring spout.
