Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1190743A2] The binding has front and rear swivel jaws each with a pivot fixed on the ski and off-set outwards relative to the center sole line so that the distance between the jaws is shortened during simultaneous front and rear rotation outwards and the ski boot sole is held secure. The distance between the jaws can be extended with simultaneous front and back rotation inwards so that the ski boot sole is released.
