[origin: EP1190744A2] The ski binding has safety jaws swivel mounted front and back on the ski boot and designed to swivel for release. The stiffness of the side release can be set different for the outside and inside on the front and rear jaws. The side release to the outside can be set stiffer than for the inside through independent spring elements.
