Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1190746A2] The front and rear safety jaws (2, 3) are connected by a transmission member (4) such as a plate or rod which has along its longitudinal centre line at two different spots a slot in the transverse direction where studs (5a, 5b) are fitted on the ski in the centre of the slots so that a simultaneous lateral displacement of the two jaws in the same direction is restricted so that the ski boot is not released whilst simultaneous lateral displacement in opposite directions lets the ski boot release unrestrictedly.
