The rotary cutting blade has a spiral cutting edge following the non-linear functional correlation formula r=f( alpha ) where r' is the distance of cutting edge from the rotation area of the blade, alpha ' is angular distance with respect to a zero line and f' is a mathematical function, where f(x) is a non-linear function.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schneidmesser, insbesondere ein Schneidmesser für eine Lebensmittel aufschneidende Schneidmaschine, wobei das Schneidmesser drehbar um einen Drehpunkt lagerbar ist und die am Rand des Schneidmessers angeordnete Schneidkante spiralförmig ausgebildet ist, wobei die Schneidkante zumindest abschnittsweise in Polarkoordinaten formuliert folgendem funktionalen Zusammenhang folgt: r = f (α). Hierbei beschreibt r den Abstand der Schneidkante vom Drehpunkt, α beschreibt den angulären Abstand bezüglich einer Null-Linie, also einen Winkel, und f beschreibt eine beliebige mathematische nichtlineare Funktion.
