[origin: EP1190854A1] The printer can be operated selectively in quality or draft mode and to change over, a system of machine parts can be adjusted in their phase position relative to a further system. At least two measuring devices (23, 24) are arranged in tandem and are connected to the swivel systems (4, 5) through shafts (6, 13) mounted coaxial relative to each other. The measuring devices consist of a fixed scanner unit (20) and a feature setter which is fixed relative to the shaft. The swivel systems are formed as gripper and suction systems.
