The manhole cover is made up of a cover plate (12) and a hinge (14) which has a profile (20) allowing it to pivot on a support frame. A flexible arm (16) on the lower side of the hinge component engages with a stop (17) on the plate to hold the two components together. An Independent claim is included for the hinge.

L'invention concerne un dispositif articulé (10) d'obturation d'un regard comportant une plaque de recouvrement (12) munie d'un profil d'articulation (20) sur un cadre support. Il comporte un élément de charnière (14) rapporté sur la plaque de recouvrement (12) et sur lequel est défini ledit profil d'articulation (20). L'élément de charnière (14) comporte des moyens (16) d'enclenchement élastique adaptés pour coopérer avec au moins une butée associée (17) ménagée sur la plaque de recouvrement (12). <IMAGE>
