Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1191171A2] The door's outer and inner handle each have a connecting element (12,14). The lock's catch-bolt is connected with a driver element (16). A coupling element (26) is movable into a first position in which it positively joins the two connecting elements and the driver element, and is movable into a second position in which the connection between the connecting elements and driver element is released. The coupling element is movable into a third position in which only the connecting element of one door-handle cooperates with the driver element, while the connecting lever of the other door-handle is uncoupled from the driver element.
