Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1191235A2] The shuttle valve has a valve element (10) in piston form, with two opposite-end soft seals (14, 16) acting with inlet-side valve seat surfaces (18, 20). The valve element can move in s protective shell (26) so that in both the seal positions, one of the seals is open and the opposite one is overlapped by the protective shell.
