[origin: EP1191294A1] A drying tower (3) has dryer modules into which the material awaiting drying is inserted and then dried under warm air which is fed in by means of a feeder-hood (2) and discharged by means of a discharge hood (4). The hoods are formed into a self-supporting, stable framework. The drying tower structure consists of lengthwise and crosswise struts.
