[origin: WO0182751A1] The invention concerns a method for managing the control system of a seat (10) comprising at least three elements (16, 20, 22) mobile relative to one another and at least two actuators (24, 26) for moving the three elements (16, 20, 22). The method comprises a step which consists in jointly controlling the two actuators (24, 26) to modify the seat configuration. The joint control step comprises the following successive steps: activating a first actuator (24) at a first time, and activating a second actuator (16) at a second time subsequent to said first time and separated from the first time by a predetermined time interval.
