[origin: WO0102250A1] The invention relates to a method for packaging flat products (P) in trays (21). According to the inventive method, individual trays (21) are picked from a stack (19) of trays by means of a suitable device. Several products (P) are fed to a conveyor belt (43) in the flat and one behind the other. Several products (P) are picked individually one after the other from said conveyor belt and are placed into the individual trays (21). The trays (21) that are filled with the products (P) are delivered on a second conveyor belt (51). The invention also relates to various embodiments of the method and to a pertaining device. The invention facilitates the placement of products (P) in the trays (21) in different arrangements.
