[origin: WO0102689A1] In a climbing aid for inclined roof surfaces, a roof ladder having two stiles and steps connected to said stiles is fixed to at least one bottom and one top pair of fastening elements (2) located on the upper part of the roof. The fastening elements (2) and the roof ladder (5) are provided with openings that are aligned relative to one another, a lower and a top horizontal threaded rod (10) traversing said openings. Each fastening element (2) and each stile (6) is clamped between a pair of threaded nuts (11).
