[origin: WO0102700A1] A guideway (21), on which a placing truck (2) can travel, is located on a running gear (1) in the form of a portal truck. Said placing truck (2) comprises an unrolling device (24) for the sealing films (3) and a device (6, 7) for applying the adhesive. Said adhesive is a hot-melt adhesive which is stored in a storage container (11) and heated. A working reservoir (10) is arranged on the placing truck (2) and is moved with the same. The working reservoir (10) can be linked to the storage mechanism (11) in the starting position of the placing truck (2) and is filled with adhesive for a work cycle in this position. This arrangement eliminates the need for long adhesive lines and reduces the risk of damage. The storage container (11) can be changed during the film (3) placing process.
