[origin: WO0179755A1] The invention relates to an atomizing burner for a heating device of a vehicle, comprising a combustion chamber which contains an accumulator (18) and an atomizing device (2) which atomizes a fuel into the combustion chamber. The invention is characterized in that a baffle plate (18) which acts as an accumulator is provided inside the combustion chamber facing towards the atomized fuel, at a distance from the atomizing point of the atomizing device (2), said distance being smaller than the diameter of the combustion chamber or the diameter of a cylindrical heat shield (8) which projects into the combustion chamber.
