Hand tool comprises a motor (5), an on/off switch connected to a switching device (8) for the motor, a shaft operated by the motor, a blocking device for blocking the shaft during tool exchange, and a securing device (42) which can be adjusted between a resting position and a toll exchanging position. A stopping device (41) is assigned to the blocking device and the switching device and can be adjusted so that in the resting position of the securing device the blocking device and the stopping device assume a releasing position and in the tool exchange position of the securing device the blocking device assumes its blocking position and the stopping device its stopping position. Preferred Features: The securing device rotates about a rotating axis (45) when it is being adjusted. The rotating axis runs parallel to the shaft. The securing device has a an operating handle (46).

Eine Handwerkzeugmaschine weist einen Antriebsmotor (5) und einen diesem zugeordneten Ein-/Ausschalter (7) auf, der mittels einer von außen bedienbaren Schalteinrichtung (8) schaltbar ist. Der Schalteinrichtung (8) ist eine Sperreinrichtung (41) zugeordnet, die zwischen einer die Schalteinrichtung (8) freigebenden Freigabestellung und einer die Schalteinrichtung (8) in ihrer Ausschaltstellung haltenden Sperrstellung verstellbar ist. Zum Blockieren der Werkzeugwelle beim Werkzeugwechsel ist eine Blockiereinrichtung (35) vorhanden, die zwischen einer in ein treibend mit der Werkzeugwelle verbundenes Maschinenteil (37) eingreifenden Blockierstellung und einer Freigabestellung verstellbar ist. Zum gemeinsamen Steuern der Blockiereinrichtung (35) und der Sperreinrichtung (41) ist eine Sicherungseinrichtung (42) vorgesehen, so dass in einer unwirksamen Stellung der Sicherungseinrichtung (42) die Blockiereinrichtung (35) und die Sperreinrichtung (41) ihre Freigabestellung und in einer Werkzeugwechselstellung der Sicherungseinrichtung (42) die Blockiereinrichtung (35) ihre Blockierstellung und die Sperreinrichtung (41) ihre Sperrstellung einnehmen. <IMAGE>
