Abstract (en)
The assembly to guide a fiber web and supporting blanket (15) through a drying station, has a deflection roller (10) between two heated drying cylinders (11, 12). A suction box (14) is over the deflection roller, in the space between the cylinders, with a pick-up zone at the point (A) where the web and blanket leave the surface of the first drying cylinder. The suction at the pick-up zone is stronger than the underpressure in the suction box. The web/blanket guide system through a drying station has a sealing bar after the take-off point from the first cylinder, in the direction of web travel. The position of the sealing bar is set so that the suction through the suction channel (3) develops a back air flow between the cylinder surface and the web. The pick-up zone is defined by the sealing bars (16, 36) and a wall of the suction opening (32). The pick-up zone is divided into sections across the web width, with different suction strengths. The air flow can be adjusted at the suction channel (3) associated with the pick-up zone.

Eine Vorrichtung zum Führen einer zu trocknenden Faserstoff-Bahn zusammen mit einem porösen Stützband (15) durch eine Trockenvorrichtung, mit einer Anordnung zum Führen der Bahn und des Stützbandes (5) auf einem im wesentlichen geraden Laufweg von einem heizbaren Trockenzylinder (11), der auf einem Teil seines Umfangs von der Bahn und dem Stützband umschlungen wird und dabei die Bahn berührt, zu einer Umlenkwalze (10), die auf einem Teil ihres Umfangs vom Stützband umschlungen wird und dabei das Stützband berührt, zu einem weiteren Trockenzylinder (12), einem in dem Zwickel zwischen den Trockenzylindern (11,12) und der Umlenkwalze (10) angeordneten, an einen Absaugkanal (18) angeschlossenen Saugkasten (14), der im Bereich der Ablaufstelle (A) vom ersten Trockenzylinder (11) eine Pick-up-Zone aufweist, welche durch eine vor der Ablaufstelle (A) gelegene, sich quer zur Bahnlaufrichtung erstreckende erste Dichtleiste und eine nach der Ablaufstelle gelegene, sich quer zur Bahnlaufrichtung erstreckende zweite Dichtleiste (36) begrenzt und an einen Absaugkanal (3) angeschlossen ist, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Pick-up-Zone mit einem höheren Unterdruck beaufschlagt ist als der Saugkasten (14). <IMAGE>
