The device has a connector body (10) in which a U-shaped conductor accommodation chamber is formed and that has a threaded bore into which a clamp bolt (3) can be screwed. The connector body has at least one blade clamp (20). The clamp bolt clamps the conductor and the blade clamp penetrates the conductor's sleeve to contact the conductor.

Für eine lösbare Verbindung eines elektrischen Leiters mit großem Querschnitt mit einem Schneidklemmanschluß wird vorgeschlagen, in einem Leiteranschlußelement einen Anschlußkörper mit mindestens einer Schneidklemme vorzusehen, in die ein elektrischen Leiter mittels einer Klemmschraube einpreßbar ist. <IMAGE>
