[origin: WO0105693A1] The invention relates to a securing device for securing the two rear wheels of vehicles on a loading ramp comprising a base plate (1) with lateral guide rails (2) fastened thereon, and comprising a tube (3) which is guided, on both sides in displaceable slides (7), along the guide rails (2), and which can be moved by drives (10) up to and away from the ramp via revolving traction elements (9). An initiator is provided for initiating the drives (10) when the rearmost wheels of a vehicle start to turn. The tube (3) is pivotally mounted in the slides (7), the drives can exert a constant force onto the slides (7) over an extended period of time, and the slides (7) can be blocked in a final position located on the ramp.
