[origin: WO0106074A1] The invention relates to a fastening device (1) comprised of first and second fastening elements (3, 4) which consist of a flat profile with an extending limb (5, 6) for fastening the first fastening element (3) to a roof element (2) and for fastening the second fastening element (4) to a stationary part of the roof, and which consist of a curved lug (7). The lugs (7) of both fastening element (3, 4) are congruently arranged and are interconnected by an inner lying connecting element (8). The aim of the invention is to be able to quickly replace different roof elements. To this end, the invention provides that the fastening element (3, 4) comprises a closure profile comprised of a replaceable glass strip (21) which can be slid into a groove (20) of the extending limb (22), and which, in an inserted state, is arranged such that it can be pivotally moved perpendicular to the longitudinal axis thereof. After installation, the roof element (2) is squeezed between the extending limb (5) of the first fastening element (3) and the glass strip (21).
