[origin: WO0052281A1] The invention relates to a façade plate comprising a base body which has a front wall that forms the visible side. A lateral wall oriented toward the rear side of the façade plate connects to the edges of the front wall. The front surface forms, together with the lateral walls, a space on the rear side for accommodating an insulating board. An insulating board can be inserted into said space and can be fixed therein. The processability of the façade plate is simplified by virtue of the fact that the base body has one or more retaining parts with teeth, and that the retaining parts are placed in the insulating board, whereby the teeth sink into the insulating board material.
