Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0192779A1] The invention relates to a light diffuser (1) comprised of a holding device and of an at least partially transparent inflatable bag (3), which can be detachably connected to said holding device. The holding device is equipped with an adapter ring (4) provided for attachment to a projector (2) and for holding the bag. In addition, the adapter ring is closed such that it is transparent and pressure sealed with regard to the attachment side, and means for supplying a gaseous filling medium are provided on the holding device. According to the invention, a compressed gas connection and an electronically actuatable valve for supplying gas are provided on the adapter ring. A first pressure sensor (7) determines the increasing inner pressure when the sack is fixed to the ring and sends a switch-off signal to the valve once an adjustable maximum pressure value is reached in order to automatically stop the filling. A second sensor (11) is also provided for detecting the ambient pressure so that a switch-off signal can be derived based on a predeterminable differential pressure value.
