[origin: WO0079491A1] The invention concerns a ticket processing device, particularly transport tickets comprising magnetic data, including: at least a magnetic read/write head (TM1, TM2); driving means (C1) for driving at least a ticket in front of the magnetic read/write head, a pressing member (OP) arranged opposite the head for pressing at least a ticket in front of the magnetic read/write head. A pressure sensor (120) mounted on the pressing member (OP) delivers a signal proportional to the deformation, said deformation depending on the displacement of the pressing member (OP) caused by the passage of one or several tickets, substantially at the time of magnetic writing/reading.
