[origin: DE19914247A1] The invention relates to an HTM fuel cell battery with reduced washing-out of the electrolyte. The invention provides a novel construction which helps to collect (32) the electrolyte that has been washed out and return it to the HTM fuel cell (31). The invention also relates to a method for starting an HTM fuel cell, wherein the washed- out electrolyte is returned to the cell with the help of the novel construction under normal operating conditions.
