[origin: EP1195204A2] Mill stand comprises supporting and/or working rollers (1), and a water skimmer (4) guided in a supporting strip (6) so that a hollow chamber (7) running in an extension to the strip is formed in the skimmer. The hollow chamber is subjected to a pressure medium. Preferred Features: The water skimmer is elastic and is guided in a groove (8) of the strip. The strip is connected to a rest bar (3). The strip is detachedly fixed to an insertion surface running parallel to the roller axis. The hollow chamber is arranged on the rear side of the water skimmer.
