[origin: US2001051008A1] A gusseted bag made of a flexible weldable material has a closed bottom end that at the inside top end is provided with a reclosable device. Side gussets are inserted between the two bag walls that form the front bag wall and the rear bag wall to stretch from the bottom end to the top end and terminate at a distance below the upper edge of the bag walls and thus define a top area of the bag without side gussets. The reclosable device is formed between the two bag walls, the upper ends of the side gussets being closed by welding to themselves and reach freely into the interior space of the bag underneath the reclosable device.

Es wird ein Seitenfaltenbeutel aus flexiblem schweißbarem Material, mit einem geschlossenen Bodenende (1) und einem mit einer innenseitigen Wiederverschlußeinrichtung (9) versehenen Kopfende (2) beschrieben, wobei sich die zwischen den beiden die Beutelvorderwand und die Beutelrückwand bildenden Beutelwänden (4, 5) beidseits eingelegten Seitenfalten (7) vom Bodenende (1) zum Kopfende (2) hin erstrecken und mit einem Abstand unterhalb der oberen Randkanten (3) der Beutelwände (4, 5) enden und dadurch einen seitenfaltenfreien Kopfbereich (8) des Beutels definieren, in dem die Wiederverschlußeinrichtung (9) zwischen den beiden Beutelwänden (4, 5) gebildet ist. Die oberen Enden (7a) der Seitenfalten (7) sind durch eine Verschweißung mit sich selbst verschlossen und ragen unterhalb der Wiederverschlußeinrichtung (9) frei in den Innenraum des Beutels hinein (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
