Abstract (en)
The casing (25) has a pair of support arms (23) inset and pivoted into its two sides, to carry a pressure roller (22) between them. A flat stripper (26, 27) and base plate are included, with several strippers attached and spaced on the lower side of the base plate. They are arranged to rest against the roller when the upper flat stripper is in the operational position inside the casing. The arrangement strips successive paper sheets from the pressure roller guiding them. The plate carries at least one detachable stop. A unit on the support arms guides the flat stripper section into its operational position, preventing contact with, or damage to the pressure roller. A stop surface on the guide unit can be engaged detachably to arrest the upper flat stripper when in the operational position. An Independent claim is included for the method of installation of the flat stripper.

Fuser-Abschnitt (20) für ein elektrofotografisches Gerät (10), welcher ein oberes flaches Abstreifelement (26) umfasst, das ohne Beschädigung der Anpresswalze (22) schnell eingebaut und ausgebaut werden kann. Das flache Abstreifelement (26) trägt eine Vielzahl von Abstreifern (33), die während des Gerätebetriebs ein Blatt Papier von der Anpresswalze (22) streifen. Zum Einbauen des flachen Abstreifelements (26) werden Führungsöffnungen in dem Abstreifelement auf Aufnahmestiften (55) positioniert, die an Lastarmen (23) angebracht sind, welche ihrerseits die Anpresswalze (22) tragen. Das Abstreifelement (26) wird auf den Stiften (55) vorwärts bewegt und wird durch ein Paar drehbarer Sperrklinken (36) auf dem Abstreifelement (26) arretiert, welche mit Feststellflächen auf den Lastarmen (23) zusammenarbeiten. Zum Ausbauen des flachen Abstreifelements (26) wird dieses Verfahren umgekehrt. <IMAGE>
