[origin: WO0106465A1] The invention concerns a device for recycling containers such as bottles, mugs, tin cans or the like. Said device comprises a deposit opening for receiving the container and at least a dispensing device for transporting the container from the deposit opening to a processing device for selection of the recycling device. So as to enable the containers to be rapidly and easily sorted, with little space requirement, the dispensing device comprises at least an intermediate base and a receiving device mobile relative thereto, which removes the container from the deposit opening and which is provided with a base opening. The intermediate base is mounted so as to be able to move within the recycling device and it comprises at least a sorting opening which can be placed beneath the base opening to allow through the container to the selected processing device.
